Select Content

To select (highlight) all content in a document:

  1. Click the 'Edit' option from the menu bar at the top of the editor window. A drop down menu will appear.

  2. Click 'SELECT ALL' to select all content within the document.


To select (highlight) a portion of content within a document:

Using Mouse

Position the cursor at the beginning or end of the content area you want to select, highlight the area by dragging the cursor over it. Double click to select the whole paragraph.

Using Keyboard

Position the cursor at the beginning or the end of the content area you want to select, next hold down the 'Shift' key and use the arrow keys to move over chosen text.

Note

Another way to select all contents is by holding down 'Ctrl' and 'A' key simultaneously.

You can hold down the 'Shift' and 'End' key to highlight content from the current cursor location to the end of that line. The same can be done from cursor to the beginning of the line by using the 'Shift' and  'Home' key.
