Move a Document

Moving a document allows you to move web pages to different areas of your website.

To move a document:

  1. Highlight the document that you want to move by clicking its name listed under the 'FILENAME' heading.
  2. Click 'DOCUMENTS' menu item from the tool bar at the top of your MoST page. A drop-down menu will appear.
  3. Click 'MOVE' option to open the 'MOVE DOCUMENT' dialog window (above image).
  4. Select the folder or section you want to move document to from the 'Destination' drop-down list.
  5. Click 'OK' to save changes.
Note

MoST automatically update all links to a document once it's location changes, please allow the process to complete before exiting dialog window in order to prevent broken links from occurring.

The time taken to complete the move varies depending on the number of documents in the website.

The document will not be moved if a document with the same name already exists in the desired destination.
