This screen is used to send a MoST page as an email to clients in the database.
To send emails follow the steps below:
- Prepare a new MoST document to send to the recipient that contains your message.
- Search for clients that you wish to send email to
- Search where:
- The search drop down box contains all the field names that are within your database
- Select a search method
- Equal to
- Not equal to
- Like
- Not like
- Less than
- Greater than
- Enter a search criteria and click search
- Enter details for sender:
- Name - this will appear as the sender in the recipients email.
- Email - enter the senders email address. Note this can be another person/organisation if required.
- Subject - the subject that will appear in the recipients email. If these are regular emails, keep the naming consistent to allow them to use filters.
- Select the document prepared earlier in step 1. Note, you may want to use a section that has a special email template.
- If you require the email to be sent on a specific date select the date from the calendar icon and a time from the drop down box provided. If no date is entered, the email will be sent when the send button is clicked
- Preview the document to make sure the correct document has been selected. A text only version will display underneath. This is what non HTML based email clients will see.
- Click send.
- An email confirmation message containing information on how many emails were dispatched will be sent to the address entered in the "Email" field. Please note the system has no way of telling if an email was successfully delivered as this happens on the mail server at the other end. However if they are undeliverable, they will probably bounce back to your in-box

Once an email has been queued it cannot be amended or removed. In order to have an email removed from the queue contact Support. |
